A league leader lost points in Marijampolė

In the first three of the "TOPsport A league," the clubs "Sūduva" from Marijampolė and "Kauno Žalgiris" failed to score for the second time in their match against each other. The confrontation held in the 15th round ended with a score of 0:0.

In the first half, the hosts controlled the ball longer, creating the most dangerous situation in the middle of the half. After a pass into the penalty area, Dejan Georgijevičius dangerously headed the ball, but his shot was saved by Giedrius Zenkevičius.

Sūduva's head coach Donatas Vencevičius had to replace the injured Amadou Sabo in the first half. The strategist's players threatened a few times with dangerous incursions into the penalty area, where Frankline Tangiri was active, and Anton Tolordava redirected Steve Lawson's ball over the goal.
