The Gargždai "Banga" team has climbed in the "TOPsport A League" tournament table. In the 15th round, the team coached by David Afonso eliminated the goal deficit and defeated Vilnius "Riteriai", who suffered their sixth consecutive defeat, with a score of 2:1.

In the first half, the teams did not score – the key moments occurred in the second half of the match. "Riteriai" took the lead after a substitution when Nojus Stankevičius, who entered the field, scored with a header in the 68th minute from a corner taken by Jakub Wawrzyniak.

However, the capital club again failed to maintain a "clean sheet." In the 78th minute, Ignas Venckus, who found himself in a rather sharp angle, equalized the score with a powerful shot.

Five minutes later, "Riteriai" conceded a very unfortunate goal. In a simple situation, N. Stankevičius tried to deflect the ball to goalkeeper Artiom Shankin with his chest; he was not expecting it, and the hosts capitulated.
