During the match between the national teams of Spain and Portugal, a spectator died in the stadium.

It was reported that the fan fell from the second level of the arena and was immediately resuscitated by paramedics.

However, efforts to save the life were unsuccessful.

After the match, condolences were expressed to the fan's family by members of the national teams and the UEFA organization itself.
