Inter Milan has taken active steps to acquire Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the Danish national team player is one of Inter's key targets this summer.

According to reports, the UEFA Champions League finalists have already made contact with the player's representatives.

The Man Utd club itself is inclined to part ways with the 22-year-old Dane, who has failed to meet expectations.

It is still unclear whether Inter will try to sign the player outright or would prefer to loan him first.

R. Hojlund scored 10 goals in 52 matches last season, although only four of them were achieved in the Premier League.
