After Madrid's "Real" club acquired the Argentine wunderkind Franco Mastantuono, local journalists rushed to call the player's compatriot Javier Saviola.
It was the latter footballer who, a couple of decades ago, made an incredible leap – he debuted at the age of 16 at the same "River Plate" club and later, at the age of 19, moved to "Barcelona".
"Yes, this situation strongly resembles the beginning of my career. Now Mastantuono will have to deal with the same challenges," J. Saviola explained.
According to the former forward, "Real" fans should not expect a copy of the playing style demonstrated by his compatriot, the "Barcelona" talent Lamine Yamal.
"He doesn't resemble the Spaniard at all; he is more similar to James Rodríguez, meaning he is the kind of player that "Real" enjoys," stated J. Saviola.
"The hardest thing is to leave your usual environment and step out of your comfort zone. Of course, if you manage the pressure playing for "River Plate", you will be ready for the Madrid team."
