Milan targets another famous veteran

After taking over the helm of the "Milan" team, coach Massimo Allegri decided to reshape the team's midfield line.

The "Red and Blacks" have already agreed on a contract with future free agent Luka Modrić.

Now "La Gazzetta dello Sport" reports that the Italian club is trying to acquire 32-year-old Granit Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen.

However, it is currently unclear whether the Germans will want to part ways with an important player who has a contract valid until 2028.

If "Milan" receives a negative response, the team will then pursue significantly younger Javi Guerra ("Valencia") and Ardon Jashari ("Brugge").
