Nottingham Forest submitted Crystal Palace to UEFA © AP

The team "Crystal Palace," which won the FA Cup, is having trouble moving into Europe.

Recently, there have been active discussions within UEFA about whether it would be appropriate to allow the "Eagles" to compete in the European League next year and in Europe in general.

UEFA is hanging onto the fact that one of the shareholders of "Crystal Palace," John Textor, owns another club that is also supposed to play in the European League next year - "Lyon."

Journalist Martynas Ziegler from "The Times" reports that after learning about this fact, the club "Nottingham Forest" has once again complained about their "Premier" League rivals "Crystal Palace."

"Forest," along with the club's controversial owner Evangelos Marinakis, has a spot in next season's Conference League but would happily play in the European League as well.

E. Marinakis owns another well-known European club - "Olympiacos."
