Žalgiris could not defeat the Šiauliai team.

The 15th round match of the "TOPsport A league" took place in the capital, where the local team faced a fierce battle against the representatives of the Sun City. After 90 minutes of play, the winner was not determined; Vilnius "Žalgiris" and FA "Šiauliai" ended in a draw 0:0.

The first 5 minutes were tough for the visitors – after Henrique Devenso's pass, Nemanja Mihajlović shot past the goal, shortly thereafter the Brazilian himself attempted a shot, but Gustas Baliutavičius prevented him from scoring. The first shot on target by the Šiauliai team was made by Gabrielius Micevičius in the 29th minute from just outside the penalty area; however, it posed no significant challenge for Carlos Olsesas.

At the start of the second half, G. Baliutavičius had to work hard, blocking a long-range shot from Jurijus Kendyšas. N. Mihajlović posed a threat once again, but his kicked ball flew past the rectangle. In the 77th minute, Ovidijus Verbickas shot from a distance, but the opponent's goalkeeper blocked the way to the goal.

In the 79th minute, Eligijus Jankauskas raised a threat near the Žalgiris goal, but it was extinguished by C. Olsesas, who was the first to the ball, the goalkeeper also defended excellently from a well-placed shot by Nikita Komissarov in a similar situation. At the end of the match, the visitors had a great chance when E. Jankauskas's attempt, which had space, was blocked, and after the ball bounced, Nikolas Džoričius's shot missed the target.

After the 15th round of the "TOPsport A league," "Šiauliai" with 25 points occupies the 4th position in the tournament table, while "Žalgiris" has 18 points and is in seventh place.
